5 Rides and Drives you don’t want to miss at Diggerland Theme Park this season!

Diggerland Theme Park is the only UK attraction where visitors young and old can operate real construction machinery!

We are now open everyday for general admission and hopefully the sun will stay shining for us! Although many of our guests prefer Diggerland in the rain!

Make sure you grab your space to visit the UK’s ultimate theme park this summer! You can book your spot on our website, here.

Here are the 5 rides and drives you definitely don’t want to miss at Diggerland this summer!

5. Buried Treasure at Diggerland Theme Park

Our Buried Treasure ride is a huge hit with all of our guests! You can spend your time digging for gold while operating a Komatsu PC14 mini digger. While this ride does take some concentration, the smiles afterwards are definitely worth it!

Suitable for anyone over the height of 80cm, Buried Treasure is fun for all! Due to the size of the machinery, those between 80 – 110cm must be accompanied by a suitable adult or OAP. Those over 100cm can operate the machinery on their own.

4. Ground Shuttle at Diggerland Theme Park

If you’re visiting one of our Diggerland parks this summer, you cannot miss our Ground Shuttle! When you get strapped in, be prepared for a stomach-churning spin around our Diggerland course.

Sitting in our custom-designed Telehandler, you’ll feel yourself being rocked around in your seats. As it rolls over the ridges of the course, some passengers may cling on for dear life. Others throw their arms up in the air to enjoy the full experience!

Can you believe our Ground Shuttle weighs a whopping 10,000kg?!

The Ground Shuttle is suitable for anyone over 100cm, including adults OAPs and children. Due to the nature of this ride, anyone that does not reach 100cm unfortunately cannot ride on this occasion. We would also strongly advise against visitors who are pregnant from riding the Ground Shuttle.

3. Giant Diggers at Diggerland

If you’re coming to Diggerland, then you probably like diggers right? Well this is one of our most popular digger drives with our visitors. Our Giant Diggers are fun for all ages!

Family Days Out at Diggerland Theme Park

Who doesn’t want to get behind the controls of a Komatsu PC55?! These tracked excavators have been specially adapted from civil engineering machinery to a fun family favourite.

It sounds simple, when you climb aboard you can scoop soil, swivel around and dump it. That’s all! But you’ll realise it’s more tricky than it seems!

This drive is suitable for all visitors over the height of 90cm however, those measuring between 90 – 110cm must be accompanied by a suitable adult or OAP. All visitors over 100cm can enjoy this dig-tastic activity on their own!

2. Skyshuttle at Diggerland

Our theme park Skyshuttle safely raises visitors 50 feet into the air, giving you a full view of our park and the rural countryside surrounding it. This is definitely the ride you want to have your cameras ready for!

This ride allows all of our visitors to enjoy spectacular views like you’ve never seen them before. Any guest over the height of 80cm can ride on our Skyshuttle.

1. Spindizzy at Diggerland

Diggerland wouldn’t be Diggerland without our famous Spindizzy! It’s certainly a ride you won’t forget! But also definitely not for the light-hearted!

If it’s your first time visiting Diggerland Theme Park then you may not be familiar with Spindizzy. It’s one of our craziest rides that involves guests being strapped into a Komatsu digger and being spun around in all different directions.

Due to the nature of this activity, we do strongly recommend those who suffer from cardiac, circulatory or spinal problems avoid this ride. We would also recommend pregnant visitors avoid participating in Spindizzy.
