Diggerland Devon is looking for an experienced Plant Fitter who will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the ride machinery at Diggerland. The fitter will need to service, repair & maintain a wide range of machinery, including JCB & Komatsu construction plant, ensuring they are in full working order at all times.

Based at our Diggerland Devon Park, your role will involve:

  • Monitoring Health & Safety of the rides and drives
  • Ensuring all rides and drives (machines) are in full working order at all times
  • Quickly repair any faulty machines
  • Liaise with the General Manager regarding any parts required
  • Managing the customer experience
  • Strategic planning & development
  • Complete all service and repair records accurately

Reporting to:

General Manager

Liaising with:

Park Manager. You will also work closely with the Operations Director to improve and maintain the park.

Experience:

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work within an already established team.

Knowledge of small and heavy plant is also essential.

The role requires someone who is self-motivated with good customer service skills & has a flexible attitude.

You will also need:

  • Knowledge of diesel engines
  • A good, positive attitude is a must, as is the ability to multi task
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • You will ideally have at least 2 years experience in plant maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be self motivated and have good customer service skills
  • Work well under pressure and retain a positive attitude to customer service.

This is a full time position and the successful applicants would be required to work 5 days over a 7-day period. Due to the nature of the role, you must be flexible & able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays & special events.

Based at Diggerland Devon, we are looking for a driver to assist us in the nationwide delivery and collection of electric hire vehicles to business customers and/or individuals. Job locations vary from local to nationwide.

Primary Responsibilities:

EVision Electric Vehicles are currently looking to recruit Driver(s) to join our team in Devon! The successful candidate will predominately be driving and delivering cars to our customers. This would mean you will consistently ensure that vehicles are prepared to a high standard so that they are suitable and ready for hire.

The successful candidate will provide a high level of customer service while delivering and collecting a wide variety of vehicles for both customers and other branches.

Our Drivers play an integral part in the process of our business as they are quite often the first and last point of contact for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • To deliver and collect a variety of vehicles in keeping with the category of your licence entitlement
  • To inspect all vehicles upon delivery and collection to ensure that any defects or damage is recorded, agreed and signed for by the customer, whilst maintaining a strong relationship with the customer
  • Where appropriate to identify any faults on the vehicles and report as necessary
  • To complete all necessary handover paperwork, such as rental check sheets etc ensuring that all details are correct and accurate
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations with the ability to actively consider both your own health and safety and that of your colleagues

Skills/Qualifications:

Full, clean UK driving licence is essential with a minimum of 5 years experience.
