Looking for a fun family day out in Kent? Why not give Diggerland a visit. From toddling tots to retired grandparents, Diggerland Kent has something for everybody. The Kent attraction is home to 20 different rides suited to a whole range of ages, perfect for all of the family to enjoy.
THE YOUNGEST FAMILY MEMBERS!
The great news is children under 90cm enter for free! Diggerland rides don’t have any age limits but they do have height requirements, but that doesn’t mean Diggerland hasn’t got some fun activities for them to still enjoy.
The Diggerland Train is a great ride for the whole family. Everyone can ride together in the main carriage. Or maybe the little ones want to follow behind in their own, personal follow cart with an interactive wheel and horn.
Once everyone has enjoyed a ride on the Diggerland train, children can head on into our two storey indoor soft play area. While the children run, slide and bounce, on our Diggerland bouncy castle, the adults can take some time to have a break, and enjoy a cup of tea in our Dig Inn Cafe!
The Little Tikes Wheelz Play Zone is another great option to keep the little ones entertained. They could clamber into a Little Tikes Cosy Coupe or dig for treasure in the sand pit. This under 5s area allows small children to move around without fear of big brother or sister running into them!
Children over 80cm can enjoy being a passenger in the Go-Karts, Skyshuttle, Dig-a-round, Safari and Joyrider. Or accompanied by someone over the age of 16, they can enjoy the Dippy Ducks, Skittles and Buried Treasure attractions. Hook A Duck or Skittles might seem easy at a fairground…but try doing it while using the controls of a Komatsu PC14 Digger!
FOR BIGGER KIDS
As well as being able to enjoy everything the younger children can, those over 90cm can enjoy a larger selection of what Diggerland Kent has to offer. Bigger kids can be passengers on the Dumpers, JCB Rides/Drives, Mini Landrovers and Robots. Or, while being accompanied by someone 16 or over they can enjoy the Dirt Diggers and Giant Diggers.
Once your child reaches the big height of 110cm they can drive and operate a huge selection of our attractions. Your child could drive a JCB Skid Steer Loader also known as JCB Robots round our purpose-designed course. Or they could take control of their own Go-Kart and zip round our track that’s been specially laid out to challenge our small drivers reflex skill. The taller they get the more duties they can take over from mum and dad. From once a passenger to the main digger operator!
FOR OUR ADULT GUESTS!
Family days out at Diggerland in Kent wouldn’t be complete without something for the adults. The good news is anyone over 140cm can enjoy all of our rides and attractions! Adults also have the opportunity to operate our Giant Diggers or drive our Mini Tractors.
Anyone (adults or really tall children) over 140cm can drive our height exclusive Crazy Carts or participate in our Stack Attack challenge. Behind the controls of a specially adapted, four-wheel-drive, AVANT 200 Series loader with a hydraulic boom, Stack Attack is the ultimate stacking test. Pick-up, move and stack the gigantic tires…Just don’t drop or knock them! Sounds easy? It’s not! That’s why you should come try it for yourself, and if you manage to do it, you’ll earn total bragging rights in your family.
GRANDPARENTS!
Everyone can enjoy family days out at Diggerland in Kent, not just kids, grandparents too! Grandparents can also enjoy all of the rides and activities Diggerland has to offer. Whether you want to speed round the Crazy Carts track or take in the scenery on the Train, Diggerland really has got something for everyone.
