Diggerland has enjoyed year on year growth since the recession, and this year the growth has been exceptional with a 20% increase in visitor numbers to our parks. To be recognised for this achievement by winning the ‘Growth by Marketing’ award is very rewarding, and we are grateful to Medway Business Awards and their sponsors for honouring us with this.”
An all new marketing strategy and website have helped to boost visitor numbers at the unique and increasingly popular, digger-themed attraction. But also key to Diggerland’s success has been ensuring visitors enjoy a great day out complete with excellent customer service and with a team work ethic that sees staff engaging with customers on a personal level to ensure each and every one feels welcomed and appreciated.
Diggerland which first launched in Medway in the year 2000, prides itself on providing FUN for the whole family. There is no where else in the world where 5 year olds can drive a real JCB!
Visitors to Diggerland can experience the thrill of being spun around in a huge, specially-constructed digger bucket on the “Spindizzy”; operate a giant JCB 806 Digger, get hoisted 50ft up in the air by the “Skyshuttle”; whirled around on the “Dig-a-Round” Carousel; and so much more! Also kids can also tear around a Go-Kart track and even drive a REAL 4×4 CAR!
Diggerland currently has four parks in Britain and one in the United States, and will be opening its 5th UK park in Evesham, Worcestershire in the summer, 2016.
