Disability Pride Month is a time to recognise, respect and celebrate the achievements of disabled people. It promotes visibility, awareness and acceptance within society. At Diggerland, we’re proud to support this important month with inclusive experiences for all.
We believe everyone should enjoy a fun, safe and welcoming day out. Whether you or a loved one has a disability, we aim to ensure that every visit is as accessible and enjoyable as possible.
What is Disability Pride Month?
Disability Pride Month takes place every July. This time highlights the contributions of disabled people across communities. It also shines a light on the need for accessibility and inclusion in everyday life.
This month celebrates identity, challenges stereotypes and promotes equal rights. We’re proud to join in by making Diggerland a place where all visitors feel welcome.
Accessibility at Diggerland
We accommodate for a wide range of disabilities. Our parks are wheelchair-friendly and mostly level throughout. Furthermore, our paths and areas around our attractions are accessible and spacious.
We provide free parking and disabled toilets at every park. Accessible toilets have wide entrances and are close to main attractions.
Staff receive training to help visitors with different needs. Additionally, we also try to reduce sensory overload where possible. This includes quieter zones and the option to take breaks when needed.
Please speak to a team member on arrival if you require support. We’ll do everything we can to help you have an enjoyable experience.
Carers Go Free with Proof

A Welcoming Experience for All
We want every guest to feel valued. If you need assistance at any point, ask a member of staff.
Some rides may require physical support for safety reasons. In those cases, a carer may be asked to accompany the guest. Our team will advise which rides are suitable based on your needs.
We’d recommend viewing our Rides and Drives page prior to your visit, to see which rides would be best suited toward you and your disability.
You’ll also find quiet areas around the park for breaks. These spots can help reduce stress or sensory overload during your visit.
