That’s why we’re excited to share a wild update to one of our much-loved attractions – the Diggerland Safari Ride, now featuring brand new vehicles at all four UK locations: Kent, Devon, Durham and Yorkshire.

Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning for another round of digger-themed fun, you’re in for a treat.

All-New Kawasaki Mules

We’ve recently invested in a fleet of Kawasaki Mule utility vehicles, which are now in operation across all of our Diggerland parks. These new vehicles offer enhanced safety, comfort and ride quality – making the Safari experience even more enjoyable for families of all ages.

It’s just one of the many ways we continue to reinvest in our parks, ensuring that every guest – whether young, old, or somewhere in between – can enjoy a fun, comfortable and memorable visit.

A Photo-Worthy Moment at Diggerland Durham

While all our parks now benefit from the upgraded Safari Ride vehicles, it was Diggerland Durham that got a bit of the spotlight recently. Our fantastic team there were more than happy to jump aboard the new Mules and pose for a fun photoshoot, capturing the spirit of the Safari Ride in full swing.

Always up for a laugh, the Durham crew truly brought the ride to life – and we loved seeing their energy shine through. If you’re heading to the Durham park, you might just recognise some familiar faces from our social channels!

Spot the Animals on Safari

The Diggerland Safari Ride offers guests a gentle off-road journey, perfect for relaxing and taking in the sights between the more action-packed rides. Keep your eyes peeled as you make your way around the track – you’ll spot cut-out animals hidden throughout the course.

From towering giraffes to cheeky monkeys, lions, elephants and more, there’s plenty for eagle-eyed explorers to discover. It’s a lovely way for children to engage with the environment and adds a touch of imagination to your digger-themed day out.

A New Life for the SsangYong – Meet the New Joyrider

Our trusty SsangYong vehicle, previously used for the Safari Ride, isn’t disappearing – far from it. It’s being given a brand new purpose as our latest joyrider vehicle. Repurposing and reusing where possible is something we’re proud of at Diggerland, and this transformation means even more fun for our guests.

Calling Local Vinyl Wrappers – We Need You

With the arrival of the new Kawasaki Mules, we’re now on the lookout for a local vinyl wrapper to help us take things up a notch. We’d love to give these vehicles a bold, themed design to match the fun of the Safari Ride and make them even more visually exciting for visitors.
