How to find Diggerland Kent
FIND US – DIRECTIONS:
By car – take the M2 to Jct 2 and follow the A228 northbound towards Rochester for 600 metres to the roundabout and turn right into Medway Valley Leisure Park where you will immediately see Diggerland on your right.
Please note: If you are travelling from London, DO NOT turn off the A2 at Jct 1, but continue instead onto the M2 and leave it at Jct 2 as stated above.
By public transport – the nearest railway stations are: “Strood”, if travelling on the Charing Cross line; or “Rochester” if coming on the Victoria line, while “Chatham” serves both lines. All three stations are within a short walk of the 151 & 170 bus routes which pass Medway Valley Leisure Park where Diggerland, Kent, is located and which are operated jointly by Nu-Venture and Arriva Kent.

If you need a chauffeur to help you arrive in style at one of our parks, or if you want to try an electric car for yourself, then EVision are the perfect, and green choice for you. Diggerland has electric car charging points at all of our parks as well!

Electric Vehicle Charging
EV Charging is available at this Diggerland Kent theme park. We use Tesla Destination Chargers, up to 11kW. The chargers are free for paying Diggerland visitors and customers of EVision Electric Vehicles.
However, for those who are not visiting Diggerland and are not an EVision customer, you can plug in and charge for a flat fee of £5. The fee will cover for a time period up to two hours.
Diggerland do not provide adapters for other electric vehicles. However patrons of Diggerland may bring their own adapter to charge other brands of electric vehicles.
We cannot guarantee a charger will be available at the time you visit and this cannot be prebooked. We would recommend visiting the ZapMap website or mobile app to check live information and availability. The chargers are available to use only during Diggerland opening times – see here for more information.
You can hire an electric vehicle in Kent by the day, week, month or longer from EVision Electric Vehicles and pick it up from our Diggerland Kent theme park location. For a full list of vehicles on fleet and prices, please click here. All vehicles come with a free tank of ‘fuel’, however do not have to be returned fully charged.

Helicopter Landing
Paying visitors to Diggerland are able to arrive by helicopter at all UK Diggerland locations and land without charge. Prior permission (PPR) however must be given. In order to receive permission, please supply of all the relevant information, in advance.
Diggerland needs to know:
- Aircraft make and type
- Aircraft Registration
- Pilot name and mobile number
- Landing date (not available during July and August)
- Expected landing time
- Number of passengers
- Number of visitors to Diggerland
- Point of departure when arriving at Diggerland
This information should be sent by email to: mail@diggerland.com, giving at least three clear working days notice in advance.
Helicopter landing is also allowed at Diggerland for non-visitors. However this is subject to the payment of £50 + VAT landing fee. All relevant information should be supplied in advance, as detailed above.
Upon receipt of all appropriate information a swift response will be given. You will then be provided with all the information necessary to carry out a safe landing.
