As part of Diggerland’s Corporate Social Responsibility, to help and improve the local community, Diggerland for 2016/17 once again sponsored the Kent Charity Awards.
The Kent Charity Awards are to recognise and showcase the hard work and perseverance that charities and voluntary groups undertake to make the lives of others better.
Louise, Sherene, Celia and Steve from Diggerland all attended the glittering awards evening on Thursday 16th March. More than 260 representatives from Kent’s charitable sector gathered. Finalists from chosen charities around the Kent county, all eagerly awaited those words, ‘You are a winner!’.
UK Marketing Manager, Sherene Garvin-Mack presented the overall winner, Charity of the Year award to Kenward Trust, who were absolutely delighted to have won against more than 70 entries. Kenward Trust is a remarkable charity providing alcohol and substance misuse and addiction rehabilitation and recovery services to men and woman across Kent and East Sussex.
