The day we’ve all been waiting for is nearly here – Black Friday! Whether you’re shopping for Christmas, a birthday or just as a treat, Diggerland has got you covered. This year’s big day is not until Friday 26th November, however we wanted you to be ready to buy when it does come.
It can be difficult choosing the best gift ideas for a loved one, family member, friend or significant other. But, with our Black Friday gift ideas, you can treat that special someone to an amazing day at Diggerland! Yes, they can drive, ride and operate a wide variety of awesome diggers.
You can also drive Dumpers, JCB Skid Steer Loaders and Manitou telehandlers. We even let the kids tear up the race track in Crazy Carts, speed around on the Dodgems or overtake one another on the Go-Karts.
For those with younger children, don’t worry! All three of our Diggerland parks have an indoor soft play area, which is perfect for those colder days! Plus our Diggerland Train is a calm ride around our parks, which toddlers and adults can enjoy!

There you’ll see all of the rides we have on offer, and don’t worry all of our parks have the same rides so you won’t be missing out. Where can I buy tickets?!
Unfortunately, we are not selling general admission tickets at the moment because our parks are closed for winter. However, you can purchase Diggerland gift vouchers to visit during next year’s season!
Our theme parks, located in Kent, Durham and Yorkshire, will all reopen in February 2022 but our gift vouchers last 12 months from the date of purchase. This means you could choose to come over the summer months or avoid the school holidays. It’s up to you.
You can buy general admission gift vouchers, here. All of our gift vouchers are sent via email, however for an additional £3 we can send them to you or the recipient. You can even add a personal message for your loved one.

If you’re looking for something more unique, or perhaps buying a gift for someone older, then our adult experience days might interest you! We run a range of experience days for those over the age of 17, where individuals can operate bigger machines.
These are great for anyone looking for a one-off, exciting day out individually or as a group. One of our most popular experience days is Dumper Racing. This is where competitors race against the clock in a JCB Skid Steer Loader in at least two race heats.
This event takes a combination of speed and skill but is great for small groups looking for a competitive day out! If you manage to pick up one of the fastest times, you’ll excel to the grand final where you could take home the winner’s certificate!
Dumper Racing takes place at our Kent and Yorkshire sites and is normally held on Saturday afternoons or evenings. You’re more than welcome to bring spectators to the event for no extra cost. Our Dumper Racing won’t start up again until March 2022, but you can order a gift voucher now!
Drive a JCB this Black Friday!
Looking for the way to a construction fan’s heart? Why not sign them up to drive an infamous JCB 3CX?!
This Black Friday, you can purchase vouchers for your friends, family or loved ones to operate a full-sized JCB digger! These events can either be run individually or within a group. Whichever one you choose, you’ll have the help of one of our trained experts to show you how to dig and fill holes using a 3CX.
Within our 90 minute group experience, you’ll dig alongside two or three other digger enthusiasts. Each person will be given their own machine to operate. Whereas, in our individual experience, you’ll have a full 90 minutes to learn one-on-one with our experts how to drive a JCB 3CX. This is a much more professional experience and will give you an insight to how the machine operates.
These experiences run exclusively at our Kent and Yorkshire locations. Plus, your experience includes admission for yourself and one other person to enjoy the day at Diggerland on the same day. You can buy a gift voucher for a JCB experience here.
Diggerland’s Monster Digger Experience
Just when you thought that was it all, Diggerland has something bigger! Our Monster Digger experience is a 90 minute, one-on-one event where you can learn how to operate our biggest machine. While your expert instructor will be on hand to support you at all times, sometimes the more demanding tasks take some instinct and judgement – only done by taking charge of the controls.
This is our greatest experience to date and is ideal for anyone looking for something unique and different. Available at Kent, Durham and Yorkshire, the Monster Digger experience is not like anything you would have done before.
Again, this experience includes admission for one additional person to have fun at Diggerland on the same day! While we can run this experience whenever suits you (subject to daylight hours), we’d recommend coming on a day Diggerland is open to ensure you make the most of your day out!
