Diggerland Yorkshire voted “Yorkshire’s Most Magnificent Attraction”

After a very competitive battle between 17 of Yorkshire’s favourite attractions, Diggerland was pleased to announce Diggerland Yorkshire as the winner.

This summer marks the fourth annual competition to find Yorkshire’s Most Magnificent Attraction. This year has seen a fantastic number of votes reaching over 6,000, with Diggerland beating fellow attractions Tropical Butterfly House (2nd place), Keighley and Worth Valley Railway (3rd place) and Eureka! The National Children’s Museum (4th place) for top position.

All at Diggerland, could not contain their excitement and amongst the squeals and cheers. Diggerland, UK Marketing Manager, Sherene Garvin-Mack said “WOW! We are so thoroughly excited! Thank you so, so much to everyone who voted for us. Everyone from Head Office, Park Management to the Marshals, Catering Team & Retail Staff, have worked exceptionally hard over the past couple of years to improve the overall customer experience, by investing in staff training and park development. We are delighted that all of the hard work has paid off. Thank you again to Yorkshire’s Magnificent Attractions for holding the competition and to our amazing fans for voting.”

The Yorkshire’s Magnificent Attractions group was founded 18 years ago, and currently includes 17 attractions in Yorkshire.
