The Diggerland Awards 2021 opens for entries on 17th February 2021. If you have a creative idea for a new Diggerland ride, we want to know about it.

The Diggerland Awards are designed to showcase the very best talent amongst young budding engineering and construction enthusiasts.
If you absolutely love anything and everything to do with Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, then these are the awards for you to enter.

The winner will be awarded an official Diggerland framed certificate. As well as a bundle of exciting prizes from some highly well known brands!

The Brief
Design A New Diggerland Ride
We’re looking for someone who really thinks outside of the box and can engineer something out of this world.
Your ride creation could even make it on our Diggerland park!
We need to see your technical drawings. Ideally you will want to base your ride on a piece of construction machinery. It could be small, similar to our Dippy Ducks attraction or it could be huge like our Spindizzy ride.
You can check out our Rides & Drives page for inspiration, although bear in mind we want to see something truly original.
If you’re able to include research you’ve done such as costs to show your creation is viable, then we would love to see this too.
Diggerland is focused on going green wherever possible, and so if you can address a climate change issue, that would be awesome.
Who Can Enter
Open For Ages 8 – 16
Children of junior or secondary ages are all welcome to enter the Diggerland Awards.
Younger children may have assistance from parents / guardians / carers.
