Are you planning on visiting our Diggerland amusement park in Kent? If so, you might be lucky enough to see our awesome mascots – Duggy and Dotty! But, before you do, there’s some fun fact you have to know about them both! Ready? Let’s dive in!
WHO ARE DUGGY AND DOTTY?
Duggy and Dotty are our two mascots at Diggerland! They absolutely love diggers and all things mud. Duggy is highly excitable, enthusiastic and his favourite ride is the Dig-A-Round. Meanwhile, Dotty is much more grounded. She is the thinker and planner of the two. Dotty’s favourite Diggerland ride is Stackattack.
Together, the two are unstoppable and love to make everyone feel welcome at Diggerland amusement park in Kent.
WHAT DO DUGGY AND DOTTY LOOK LIKE?
If you’re visiting our Diggerland amusement park in Kent, you’ll definitely be able to spot Duggy and Dotty! Duggy has mousey brown hair and Dotty usually wears her blonde hair in two pigtails. Both of them are always wearing their shiny high visibility jackets and hard hats to make sure they stay safe while at the park.
WHERE DO DUGGY AND DOTTY GO ON HOLIDAY?
Are you thinking about those luscious six week long summer holidays already? We know Duggy and Dotty are! They spend most of their time travelling up and down the UK to visit our Diggerland parks in Kent, Devon, Durham and Yorkshire. But, they LOVE to go on holiday!
When planning their holidays, Duggy and Dotty love finding new adventurous places to visit. They enjoy being outside and recently visited one of the best zoos in the UK! After seeing Chester Zoo featured on Channel 4’s ‘Secret Life of the Zoo’, Duggy couldn’t wait to see the animals in person. Chester Zoo is known across the country for its fantastic conservation programme and range of animals.
Duggy was so excited to see Chester’s crew of humboldt penguins swimming around and they did not disappoint! Meanwhile, Dotty thought the slow-moving sloths were hilarious. They even managed to watch one of the informative zoo keepers talk about the sun bears.
While they loved visiting Chester, Dotty wanted to go on holiday outside of England and since mascots can’t have passports, they ended up in Edinburgh! While in the Scottish capital, the pair decided to step into the interactive world at Camera Obscura and World of Illusions.
They were both a bit confused at some of the mind-boggling illusions… But Duggy found the Kaledio Tunnel hilarious. It actually might put your head in a spin more than Spindizzy does!
