In light of the current situation, please kindly be advised that all of our UK Diggerland parks are now closed. We aim to re-open as of Saturday 11th July 2020.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Hi All,

We hope you are continuing to stay safe and look after each other.

We are happy to announce that we will be re-opening all of our Diggerland parks on Saturday 11th July at 10:00am. For any COVID-19 information and health and safety measures please see below.

Looking to visit?

Visitors who pre-book their admission tickets will be guaranteed admission into our parks.

We will be opening our online bookings very soon. Watch this space!

Unfortunately we will be unable to accept pay on the day discount vouchers or special offers during July and August.

Currently we are working very hard to put into place additional safety & hygiene measures to allow the park to open safely. We will release further information as soon as possible, so please check back before your visit.

We are so grateful for your continued support at this time and thank you for bearing with us.

The Diggerland Team.

All bookings are suspended until further notice. If you already have a pre-existing booking please email your details to: mail@diggerland.com – We will be experiencing a high number of emails so please do allow us time to respond.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Due to limited visitor capacity there are changes to how you can use your admission Gift Vouchers. Please see relevant FAQ below.

MAKING A BOOKING

We will be limiting numbers to 500 visitors a day, so we strongly advise you pre-book your tickets online in advance to guarantee your entry (tickets cannot be pre-booked on the same day of your visit). Tickets can be booked here.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) FAQS

How do I book if I have admission Gift Vouchers that I purchased through Diggerland?

Due to restrictions and limited capacity each day, admission can only be guaranteed by pre-booking.  Please email mail@diggerland.com with your voucher type and reference number, preferred park and visit date as well as a contact number.  You need to do this at early as possible in order to get booked in on your preferred date.  We cannot accept requests less than 5 days before your required visit date.

Alternatively you can turn up with your voucher at the park without pre-booking but should all presale tickets be sold out then it won’t be possible for us to allow you entry.

If your voucher expired during lockdown these are being extended to cover the period they were unable to be used up until their expiry date.  All vouchers still in date as of the 11th July will have an additional 4 months added onto their expiry date. This will be calculated when you make contact by email to book your visit date.  Alternatively you can pay to extend your vouchers for an additional 12 months.

We hope you will understand that under the current guidelines this is our only option of managing gift vouchers to ensure the safety and well being of our guests and staff.

How do I book if I have a fundraising voucher?

Due to restrictions and limited capacity each day, admission can only be guaranteed by pre-booking.  Please email mail@diggerland.com with your voucher reference number, preferred park and visit date as well as a contact number.

We are unable to accept fund raising vouchers that have expired.

How do I book if I have a Bulk Voucher Ticket?

If you hold a Bulk Voucher ticket bought at a discounted rate from Kids Pass or another source we can only accept these if you pre-book your date and will not be accepted on arrival.

Due to restrictions and limited capacity each day, you will need to email mail@diggerland.com with your voucher type and reference number, expiry date, preferred park and visit date as well as a contact number.  There might be an additional cost for us to process your booking for you and we cannot accept requests less than 5 days before your required visit date.  You cannot use your voucher to book on line.

If your voucher expired before 11th July these are being extended to cover the period they were unable to be used up until their expiry date.

How do I book if I have a Complimentary Ticket?

Unfortunately you will not be able to use your complimentary ticket when pre-booking on line.  Admission will only be possible on presentation on the gate and we cannot guarantee entry should all presale tickets be sold out.

If your complimentary ticket expired during lockdown regrettably we are not able to extend these for a later date.

Will I be able to turn up on the day and pay?

We will still allow visitors to turn up on the day and pay, but you will not be guaranteed entry if the maximum amount of visitors has already been reached. With restricted numbers of 500, we would highly recommend pre-booking your tickets in advance to guarantee you entry into the park. Please note tickets cannot be booked on the same day as your visit.

Can I use my Blue Peter Discount offer?

Unfortunately we are not able to offer any discount codes or offers including Blue Peter Badges throughout July and August.

Can I book a group visit or birthday party?

Unfortunately at present we cannot accommodate group visits or birthday party bookings. Visitors can pre-book general admission tickets for the time being. We will update our website as soon as we have any further information.

What health and safety measures are in place at Diggerland?

We have the following health and safety measures in place:

  • Restricted visitor numbers to 500
  • We are advising all visitors to ensure they are social distancing from other guests
  • We recommend face coverings at all times, but these are not obligatory, except on certain designated rides
  • We have closed our indoor areas including the indoor play area
  • If you need to pay for anything, please pay by contactless card where possible
  • All visitors will undergo a non-invasive temperature check on arrival – this is for the safety of all visitors and staff
  • We suggest going on rides in your family groups, this will help maximise our ride availability
  • All Diggerland parks will be deep cleaned including any touch points and machines. We do suggest customers also bring hand sanitiser as well
  • We will be turning away anyone who presents symptoms of COVID-19, this is for the safety of other visiting guests and our staff

Will all rides be open?

In line with Government guidelines, we cannot unfortunately open the indoor play area and the indoor Little Tikes area for health and safety reasons. Other rides may be closed due to health and safety, we will update as and when we know.

Can I get food and drink at Diggerland?

All visitors will be able to purchase food and drink as usual from the Dig Inn, with restrictions in place that are in line with Government guidelines.

Will I need to wear a face mask?

We encourage everyone to wear a face mask for their own health and safety. Although it is not mandatory, some rides will need visitors to wear a face mask. All of our staff will be wearing face coverings. Face masks are not required for any children under the age of 6 and for people with certain health conditions and/or disabilities.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes, all Diggerland parks have picnic benches scattered around the park.

Will you accept any discount codes?

During July and August we are unable to accept any discount codes or offers including Blue Peter Badges and 2 for 1’s.

Will the goodie store be open?

You will be able to make the most of our on-site goodie store, but restrictions will be in place to ensure the health and safety of our staff and other visitors.

What are the opening times?

We will be open at our usual times of 10am – 5pm.
