JCB Racing

JCB Racing is certainly an experience not to be missed. It gives you the unique opportunity to get behind the wheel of 8.5 tons of sheer excitement. Experience the thrills of driving and racing these huge excavators on our specially designed course.

Each event is supervised by our highly experienced Instructors and is planned and hosted by an Event Manager. We provide top of the range JCBs and, after individual tuition and a safety briefing, participants are given the chance to race with fellow competitors, 3 or 4 at a time. During each race heat, participants will have to stop and pick up an item with the front digger bucket, and drop the item off again further round the course.

JCB Racing is held on selected week-end dates (usually one date per month at each location) from May until September at our Devon, Kent and Yorkshire locations only. Due to lack of space we no longer run JCB Racing at our Durham location.

As you would expect, there is an age limit - all participants must be at least 17 years old and hold a full driver's licence.

JCB Racing is a day out that will be remembered long after other presents have been forgotten and is certainly excellent value for money.

A day of JCB Racing (on an event which is open to other members of the public) costs £124.99 per participant, which includes the use of the rides and drives in Diggerland throughout the day, as well as competing in the JCB racing session, which lasts approximately 3 hours.

Spectators are welcome at a cost of £10 per head, which includes the use of the Diggerland rides and drives throughout the day.
