There is very little chance anywhere else for those under the age of 17 to drive motor vehicles.

Diggerland are now giving youngsters aged 9 and upwards (and also adults) the opportunity to either drive their family's own vehicle, or to hire a 4x4 from us and drive that. In either case they will be under the supervision of a member of their own family.

The Novice Driver activity is now available at our Kent location and will be extended to all of the other Diggerland sites from 10th April 2009.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ACTIVITY IS SEPARATE FROM THE NORMAL RIDES AND DRIVES IN DIGGERLAND. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY THE DIGGERLAND ADMISSION FEE TO PARTICIPATE IN "NOVICE DRIVER", BUT INSTEAD YOU WILL NEED TO PAY A SEPARATE CHARGE. To use your own vehicle (we recommend only 4x4's for this activity) costs £10 for a 30 minute driving session. If you hire one of our 4x4's the cost is £20 per 30 minute driving session.

Novice Driver operates only at weekends and on Bank Holidays. During periods when Diggerland opens to the public on weekdays, Novice Driver does NOT operate on the weekdays, but is available at the weekends. The activity is only available between 9.30am and 11.30am and between 3.30pm and 5.30pm.

Pre-booking is not required - you can book a session at the Diggerland admissions area on the day of your visit.
